At Statens Museum For Kunst, Galib Gassanoff placed woven carpets from the Caucasus, Anatolia, Northern Iran and Central Asia across the museum’s central atrium, turning the floor into cultural terrain. His Georgian and Azerbaijani roots entered Copenhagen through fabric, pattern and civic space, creating a quiet borderland where minimal forms carried ancestral weight.

In The King’s Garden, the collection touched the city directly, letting Copenhagen watch fashion stretch, loosen and step outside with performance still clinging to its hems.
