Lili Reinhart: Autumn With an Acid Twist

A glossy brown coat, dark indigo denim and charcoal knitwear would already make a convincing autumn uniform. Lili Reinhart changes the entire temperature with acid green, placing the shade at her neck, hand and feet until a sensible New York look suddenly carries the oddness of a Resort runway.

Reinhart wore the ensemble in New York dressed almost entirely in Tory Burch Resort 2026. The strongest piece was the house’s cinnamon Calf Hair Coat, a long tailored style made from printed calf hair with soft shoulder pads and horn buttons. Underneath, a grey V-neck knit sat over a vivid green neck layer and a narrow flash of white, creating three clean bands of color around the face.

Rejina Pyo’s Atlas Coat in Distressed Brown Faux Leather is a strong substitute. Its relaxed single-breasted shape, elongated body and intentionally aged surface preserve the strange richness of Reinhart’s original coat while shifting the material from calf hair to distressed faux leather. The important part is the scale. Let the coat fall well below the hip so the acid accents stay small against a broad field of brown. A cropped leather jacket would change the entire proportion.

The denim deserves equal attention because ordinary straight jeans would flatten the outfit. Tory Burch’s original pair turns the cuff into almost a separate accessory through its oversized T Monogram print. Parfois’ Jeans with Printed Cuff reproduce that idea remarkably closely. The dark indigo base stays clean and practical, while the enlarged turned-up hem introduces a contrasting pattern around the ankle. Her accessories are where the green stops looking accidental. Reinhart’s Tory Burch Resort bag appears in vivid satin, creating a soft flash beside the hard brown outerwear. The pointed shape keeps the lower line sharp, while the textured surface and low sculptural heel give the shoe enough personality to register beneath the wide cuffs.

What makes this Lili Reinhart look memorable is the discipline behind the strange color choice. Brown, grey and indigo occupy most of the body; acid green appears only in three controlled locations. The shade frames the face, hangs from the hand and finishes the feet, almost drawing a triangle around the outfit.
