Co-founded by Bob Chase and Fair Director Kelly Cornell, the third edition of The Aspen Art Fair eschews the clinical backdrop of conventional convention centers. Instead, over 35 premier international galleries take over purpose-built booths, ballrooms, and Victorian-era hotel rooms throughout Hotel Jerome.
This immersive "hotel takeover" format creates an extraordinary dialogue between contemporary masterworks, historic architecture, and mountain hospitality, offering visitors a remarkably personal gallery experience.
The 2026 gallery roster highlights an exceptional blend of global blue-chip art and specialized craft. New York and Tokyo’s Ippodo Gallery transforms Room 121 into a haven of Japanese fine craft and Nihonga mineral pigment paintings, spotlighting 2025 LOEWE Craft Prize winner Kunimasa Aoki. A joint debut by albertz benda and Friedman Benda bridges fine art and functional design, complemented by curated presentations from European powerhouses such as Zurich’s Galerie Gmurzynska and London’s Ronchini.
Positioned as a central anchor for Aspen Art Week, the boutique fair operates alongside Intersect Aspen and major summer galas hosted by the Aspen Art Museum.
