Dior will become the premier partner of Cherry Lane Theatre, the historic Off-Broadway venue A24 acquired in 2023 and reopened in 2025. The opening programme centres on Both Ends, a one-night performance by Justin Vivian Bond, produced and directed by Zack Winokur and inspired by poet Edna St. Vincent Millay, one of the theatre’s founders.
Jonathan Anderson designed costumes specifically for the performance. Bond also wears an archival Paul Poiret piece, creating a link between theatre history and Anderson’s Dior Winter 2026 collection, which drew on Poiret’s work.
The partnership was introduced through an Aidan Zamiri-directed film featuring Sabrina Carpenter, Camille Cottin, Josh O’Connor, Drew Starkey and Sophie Wilde auditioning to play Anderson himself.
Luxury houses have long used cinema through red-carpet dressing, ambassadors and festival sponsorships. This collaboration goes deeper by giving Dior a role in programming, performance and talent development.
Over the next two years, Dior and A24 will create projects both on and off screen, while also supporting students interested in the creative and practical sides of film and theatre.
That makes the partnership more about participating in how culture gets made. Dior x A24 turns fashion from something worn inside the story into one of the forces helping produce it.
