COSRX became the first K-beauty brand to officially sponsor a Maison Margiela show and the first Asian beauty brand across any category to do so. It also follows Samsung Electronics and Gentle Monster as only the third Korean brand to collaborate with the house.

Backstage, the partnership had a functional role. Makeup artist Inge Grognard used COSRX’s “Blue” skincare concept to prepare models’ skin, centring the routine around the Blue Peptide range and an unreleased Blue Peptide Mist. Hydration and skin preparation became part of how runway beauty was constructed before makeup was applied.
COSRX has already spent years turning K-beauty ingredients and routines into global retail successes. Its presence at Maison Margiela SS27 suggests another stage of that expansion: Korean skincare entering the professional infrastructure surrounding high fashion.
The relationship also follows COSRX’s increasing activity at Paris Fashion Week. In 2025, the brand worked backstage at Courrèges and Caroline Hu, supplying skincare and haircare to their show teams.
What started as a consumer-led K-beauty boom is increasingly visible inside the spaces where fashion imagery itself is produced. With COSRX x Maison Margiela, skincare has moved from the bathroom shelf to a place directly beneath the runway lights.
