Willy Chavarria grew up in California’s San Joaquin Valley, where motorcycle culture formed part of the visual landscape around him. That memory becomes the starting point for his five-piece Ugg collaboration, translating the brand’s surfer heritage through black leather, chrome hardware and protective moto details.
The towering Guard Boot leads the collection with a molded toe cap and shin guard. Biker and Relaxed boots introduce slouchier proportions, while the Otzo clog and embroidered hotel slippers complete the line. Beneath their harder surfaces, every style keeps the plush sheepskin lining that still makes the shoes recognizably Ugg.
The cultural collision continues in Ugg and Kisses, a campaign inspired by the 1990s sitcom Married... With Children. Eva Longoria, Becky G, Danny Trejo and Ivan Cornejo form Chavarria’s new Latin family, bringing humor into a collection already built around contrasting identities.
Ugg has spent years escaping the narrow image of the Y2K celebrity slipper through increasingly experimental partnerships. Willy Chavarria pushes the transformation further while leaving the product’s most familiar pleasure intact.
