Alaïa entered denim section with the same obsession for line, contour, and sensual control that has long shaped the house, so the collection arrived feeling like a natural extension of its design language. The line is described as a study of fit and form, conceived to sublimate the body and reveal its lines, with purity, simplicity, and savoir-faire all directed toward the perfect fit. That philosophy carried the collection away from denim as off-duty staple and into denim as body architecture.

The collection opened with six silhouettes: Round, Bootcut, Straight, Skinny, Palazzo, and Fit and Flare. Each one leaned into shape with unusual discipline. The Round jean carried that arched, almost architectural curve already familiar in Alaïa’s vocabulary. The Skinny cut traced close to the body like a second skin. The Palazzo and Fit and Flare styles stretched the line outward with a longer, more fluid sweep. Even in denim, the house kept its eye on precision rather than casual ease.

The material story gave the launch its polish. The jeans were made in Japan from rope-dyed indigo denim, then treated through hand-washing, sanding, shaving, and laser cutting to create depth, texture, and that slightly lived-in richness luxury denim always chases. The campaign, fronted by Mona Tougaard and photographed by Sam Rock, carried the same mood: clean, exact, and fully focused on cut.
