Tiffany & Co. Blue Book 2026 Brings Nature to Life in Gems

Blue Book 2026 marks Tiffany's most botanically charged high jewellery collection in years - and it already has a red carpet moment before the official reveal.

April 16, 2026

On 16 April 2026, Tiffany & Co. unveiled the spring chapter of Blue Book 2026: Hidden Garden at an exclusive private gala in New York City. The fourth Blue Book collection under chief artistic officer Nathalie Verdeille, it is the first to ground itself entirely in the natural world - drawing on flora, fauna, and the quiet transformations of a garden through its seasons. The collection unfolds across ten distinct stories, each rooted in the legacy of Jean Schlumberger, the French-born designer who joined Tiffany in 1956 and spent two decades turning birds, butterflies, and blooms into the house's most iconic pieces.

The collection opens with Butterfly - the most personal of all Schlumberger motifs - where pendants detach to be worn as brooches, a nod to the house's tradition of transformable design. Monarch follows, with a hidden butterfly concealed beneath sculpted foliage handcrafted in platinum and 18-karat yellow gold, set with cushion-cut sapphires from Sri Lanka and Madagascar.

Blue Book 2026: Paradise Bird

Bird on a Rock returns with new drama: birds now perch on Mexican fire opal, Brazilian rubellite, and Ethiopian blue chalcedony, their feathers rendered in hand-applied paillonné enamel in dark blue, duck green, and Tiffany Blue. The chapter's standout is a transformable necklace anchored by a Brazilian aquamarine of over 22 carats. The flora chapters - Jasmine, Marguerite, Bloom, Twin Bud, and Palm - close the collection, with unenhanced Zambian emeralds, Mozambique rubies, pink and purple sapphires woven through sculpted vines and platinum leaves.

The gemstone palette throughout is exceptional: salmon padparadscha sapphires, Montana sapphires in denim blue, Fancy Vivid Yellow diamonds, and D-color, internally flawless Type IIa emerald-cut diamonds - over 10 carats in a single pair of earrings.

The collection had already made its red carpet debut before the official gala: a Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond necklace representing abstract bees in flight was worn by Gwyneth Paltrow at the Oscars on 15 March.

Blue Book 2026: Hidden Garden will be released across three phases - spring, summer, and autumn. For a house whose high jewellery sales have quadrupled since the LVMH acquisition, it is the clearest statement yet of where Tiffany's ambition is headed.
